Diploma of Musicality
in History & Trajectory of Afro-Cuban Palladium-era Music
(Postgraduate Academic Master's Degree Program)
The Postgraduate Academic Master's Degree is a complete A-to-Z
Study of musicians & dancers from both the Palladium-era & the Fania-era.
You learn the timeline of events and the musicians
who contributed to what Afro-Cuban music is and isn't,
and what "Salsa" is and isn't and what "Cubana" is and isn't.
This amazing program prepares students to be completely fluent
in knowing A-Z about the Palladium and Fania eras
which enables students to be able to have high-level and factual conversations.
If you've had any conversation about Salsa,
you may have or probably WILL encounter two distinct groups of people:
a .. "Fania Aficionados" - those who focus on musicians FROM "Fania"
& Johnny Pacheco and Hector Lavoe and Willie Colon
instead of the musicians and dancers from BEFORE "Fania"
b .. "Cubana-aficionados" - those who who focus on the music AFTER the revolution in Cuba
instead of being well-rounded in their knowledge from BEFORE the revolution.
This Postgraduate Academic Master's Degree prepares you
to be able to defend yourself (your dancing, your knowledge,
your musical understanding) with anyone that you may encountere in your dance journey.
You will be able to hold conversations with anyone
on any level of music and dance regarding the History of Afro-Cuba / Salsa music.
